Short answers about how BRB Draft works and what it does not do.
What does BRB Draft do?
It lets your phone act as a remote for your League of Legends champion select. You can accept a match, ban, pick, choose summoner spells and runes, pick a skin, and watch the draft board while you are away from your keyboard.
Do I need to install an app on my phone?
No. BRB Draft is a web page that you add to your Home Screen. For optional alerts you install the free ntfy app.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Any phone with a modern browser works. The PC side is Windows only.
Does it work away from home?
Controls only work when your phone is on the same Wi-Fi as your PC. Alerts can reach your phone anywhere with internet, but you will need to be back on your home Wi-Fi to act on them.
Is it free?
Accepting matches is free. During the early release every feature is free. Later, BRB Draft Plus will cost $2.99 a month or $15.99 a year for ban and pick, spells, runes, skins, and the draft board. We will post here before that starts.
Is it safe to use?
BRB Draft runs on your PC and only talks to your phone over your home Wi-Fi. A private PIN protects it, and five wrong guesses lock a device out for five minutes. Do not use it on school, work, dorm, or public Wi-Fi, and never open it to the internet. It never asks for your Riot password.
Does it give me an unfair advantage?
No. It shows only what your League client already shows you, and it does only what you tap. It does not read the game, show hidden enemy hovers, or play for you. Auto-accept is the one thing that happens without a tap, and you switch it on yourself.
Is it allowed by Riot?
BRB Draft is an independent tool that is not made by or endorsed by Riot Games. It talks to the League client through the same local interface many third-party tools use. Riot does not officially support that interface, so a League update can break features until BRB Draft is updated.
Why does Windows warn me about the file?
Windows shows a warning for new programs from small developers. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You can compare the file's SHA-256 fingerprint with the one on the download page.
Which game modes work?
Draft, blind pick, ranked solo and duo, and flex. Modes that do not have a normal pick and ban, such as ARAM, are not covered yet. Accepting a match works in every mode.
Why are enemy picks not showing?
BRB Draft shows only what League shows. In some modes, such as blind pick, League hides enemy picks. The note under the draft board names the mode League reports.
How do I update it?
Download the new file and replace the old one. Your PIN and settings carry over.
How do I remove it?
Close the black window and delete the file. To clear your saved PIN and settings, delete the BRB Draft folder inside your Windows AppData Roaming folder.
